Girls Can Play (Columbia, 1937). British Three Sh
Girls Can Play (Columbia, 1937). British Three Sheet (41" X 81"). Rita Hayworth changed her name from Rita Cansino and underwent painful electrolysis to her hairline to get the parts she wanted. Her second film assignment, after landing a seven-year contract with Columbia Pictures, was "Girls Can Play." This film's original title was "Miss Casey at Bat." Rita stars alongside Charles Quigley, Jacqueline Wells (later renamed Julie Bishop) and John Gallaudet, as her unlikely lover. This is a beautiful British three sheet, no doubt identical to the American poster, other than the British used stone lithography for this stunning poster. The poster is folded with minimal fold wear. Very Fine.
