<td width="100%">
Classical gilt-wood & gesso and ebonized convex wall mirror having spread winged eagle finial above flaring plinth surrounded by carved oak leaf foliate. All above circular frame with black fillet, all above a wonderfully carved drop. As with most girandole mirrors of the period, this is likely an English mirror. The oak leaf foliate is rare and desirable. The height of the plinth is exceptional which adds to the lasting aesthetic value of the piece. There are two slots on the rear of the mirror indicating that it may have had candle arms at one point in its life. This mirror is in a wonderful state of preservation with original gilded surface. No restoration to the surface, looking glass or back. The mirror measures 38" high. The looking glass measures 14" in diameter. The frame measures 21.5 in diameter. For shipping purposes, this item is shipped in a custom built wooden case. It is shipped fully insured. Your complete satisfaction is our goal. If you are not happy with an item purchased, return it in it's original condition for a refund.
