Fine Handwritten letter in italian letter written and signed in hand by Rossini, to his attorney appointed for his affairs and business transactions. Beautifully framed with engraving in fine condition. the letter in full reads: " To: Sig.n Angelo Mignani,Papal State Bologna Dear I received the very dear and much awaited letter you wrote me on the 17th of this month. I was very much concerned over your silence: now I am much relieved. As for the M______?) go right ahead and be harsh, for it is useless to be indulgent with the ungrateful. I made out to this banker of mine, Rothschild, a draft in your favor of 8000 (francs ?). Tell Momiler (?) that it is dated today and payable on sight. Please cash it and charge it to my account. I shall be awaiting the news of the sale of Doncredi (?) which, I suppose, will be useful to what 1s left of a magnificent patrimony. Give my best regards to Donna Maria. Please give my regards also to Mr. & Mrs. Bonora and to Sr. Landolfi. My wife returns your kind greetings. I remain, as always, your affectionate friend, G.
