Gil Kane, Wally Wood, Mike Sekowsky, Jack Sparling, and Creig Flessel (attributed) - Original Art for Unearthly Spectaculars #2, Group of 33 pages, 5 Complete Stories (Harvey, 1966). This jam-packed lot contains: 1) a 5-page Gil Kane "Tiger Boy and Co." story, "The Boy Who Hates Us All." Gil Kane inks his own pencils. Panel five of page four has a re-sized stat over the original art. 2) An original Wally Wood single art panel for "Earthman" that is pasted-on as a part of a house ad page. The rest of this house ad page is stats. A "Three Rocketeer" stat is missing. 3) A 7-page Mike Sekowsky "Three Rocketeers" story, "How The Three Rocketeers Teamed Up." 4) A 15-page Jack Sparling "Jack Q. Frost" story, "The Ice Prison." Page one has a pasted-on panel which has yellowed. Page eleven also has a panel pasted-on. 5) A 2-page Jack Sparling "Piranha" story (untitled). 6) A 2-page Creig Flessel (attributed) story "Super Surplus." 7) The Contents page that is entirely stats. The overall page size is 14" x 23", with an image area of 12" x 18". Important notice: Heritage usually auctions material at the rate of 200-250 lots per hour. On some occasions eBay Live bid software or the Internet may not be able to keep up with the pace of the auction. We recommend placing a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Occasionally the auctioneer may eliminate or reject an eBay Live bid, and the auctioneer may also reopen a lot after the close of the eBay live bidding (usually because we missed an audience bid), and may reject your bid even if it shows you as the winning bidder. By bidding via eBay Live, you agree that Heritage may award the lot to another bidder at its sole discretion under the circumstances described above or any other reasonable circumstances. Since eBay bids are not shown to us until we open the lot on the floor, we treat those bids just like floor bids. In most cases the floor responds before the eBay bid is presented to us, due to Internet lag time, so for consistency we have made it a policy that floor bids are always considered first over tie eBay live bids. Also please note that all Heritage lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions before you bid.
