Three National Exhibition Company [parent organization of the New York Baseball Giants] business checks, each filled out in type and signed by Horace C. Stoneham and Edgar P. Feeley, 9.5 x 3.5, dated from February 27-June 15, 1953. Payable to Charles S. 'Chub' Feeney for $500 (endorsed on the reverse by Feeney), Frank G. Bowman for $250.21 (endorsed on the reverse by Bowman), and Clinton C. Hartung for $213.91. In overall fine condition. Stoneham owned the New York/San Francisco Giants from 1936 to 1976, orchestrating their move from east to west. Feeley was the treasurer and counsel for the National Exhibition Company. Feeney, the nephew of Horace Stoneham, served as the team's vice president from 1946 until 1969, when he succeeded Warren Giles as president of the National League.
