Italian composer (1858–1924) who earned a central place in the operatic pantheon with such repertoire staples as ‘La boheme,’ ‘Madama Butterfly,’ and ‘Tosca.’ ALS in Italian, signed “G. Puccini,” one page both sides, 6.25 x 9, Torre del Lago letterhead, circa 1921. Untranslated letter to Maria Bianca Ginori, the daughter of Puccini's friend and La boheme dedicatee, the Marchese Carlo Ginori Lisci. In fine condition.
