Unmarked Germanic Falling Block Ziimmer Schuetzen Gallery Rifle, possibly by a Guild, 4mm, 27-3/4'' blue octagonal barrel with gallery barrel approx. the forward 8-1/2''; double set adjustable trigger which is removable, sling swivels, fingerloop lever with unique pinch spring release, dragon and scroll engraved, case hardened loading gate apparatus, frame, lever, and buttplate; checkered walnut stock and forend with high pronounced Schuetzen cheekpiece and Swiss buttplate. Ramped front sight set up for quick front sight changes; removable rear sight is missing (retaining screw remains). Commercial German proofs crown-''B'' & ''U'' to upper right portion of frame. Condition is fine overall retaining 90% vivid case colors to frame and lever; buttplate retains approx. 50% case colors. Stock with mostly crisp checkering and light to moderate scratches and impressions, including two hairline cracks near tang and right side of frame, and one larger crack that starts at top of buttplate and extends approx. 1-1/2''. Gallery loading gate apparatus is in good working order and retaining nearly all of its original case hues. Nice crisp action, very nice trigger pull, micro-groove bore is excellent. A super high quality pre-war Gallery rifle that would be difficult to replace. Est.: $2,000-$3,000. (Antique)
