Its rulers were titled prince-abbots, later to become prince-bishops. Fulda is located right near what was the division between East and West Germany. U.S. intelligence believed this area to be the logical invasion point of the Russian troops, so this "Fulda Gap" was very heavily defended.
Estimated Value $500 - 600.
Ex Irving Goodman Collection.

Our item number 116215
<IMAGES>

</IMAGES>
