German Spike helmet from Imperial era in good untouched condition showing some slight cracking, normal aging and minor warping to the body but generally good overall. The front plate shows two Lions and the Germaninscription of In Treue Fest. Along with crown and what appears to be a Saxon crest at center. The brim shows some dents in the brass and slight folding. The chinstrap is retained and shows black and white pips onone side and blue and white on reverse. The original liner is retained and in good condition. The interior of the helmet is marked 11 JR and dated 1906. From on of San Diego’s oldest collections. Est.: $150-$300.
