Series of World War II press photographs depicting the execution of German spies by firing squad. Four images dated May 1945. Caption: ''Captured in American uniforms, three German spies face execution by a firing squad after they were court martialed. At time of capture they carried with them a radio transmitter and receiver to relay...results of their reconnaissance of roads & bridges...they had perfected their disguise by mingling with American prisoners of war...'' Measurements range from 6.25'' x 9'' to 8'' x 9.5''. Excellent.
