German made tip-up single shot parlor pistol chambered for .22 Cal. Cartridges, circa 1920's. Scharfenberg style pistol. Blue finish. Features a 8” octagonal barrel, dovetailed blade front sight, dovetailed rear sight with 'u' notch, rounded straight bow trigger, finger rest trigger guard, hammer with grooved spur and two-piece finely checkered walnut grips. Push button barrel release on left frame. The frame is marked with [crown]/"U", & [crown]/"B". The barrel is proofed 5,3 m/m, [crown]/"B", [crown]/"G", [crown]/"U", & "5"and "Shooting Man" in circle trademark. Retailer marked “AKAH” for Albrecht Kind GMBH, Germany’s oldest sporting goods retailer since 1853. Pistol retains approximately 90% of its original finish showing edge wear, minor scratches and handling wear to the triggerguard. Action is sound, barrel locks-up tight and the bore is very good/bright, slight frosting in the grooves and the wood grips are excellent.
