This is a 1990s postcard featuring artwork by Max Beckmann titled Drei Tanzerinnen . Printed in Germany. SIZE: Approx. 4" x 6". Max Beckmann (February 12, 1884 - December 27, 1950) was a German painter, draftsman, printmaker, sculptor, and writer. Although he is classified as an Expressionist artist, he rejected both the term and the movement. In the 1920s, he was associated with the New Objectivity (Neue Sachlichkeit), an outgrowth of Expressionism that opposed its introverted emotionalism. **MORE postcards from 1950s to 1990s (risque, nude, art sci-fi, oddities) in this and future auctions. A 20% restocking fee also applies to merchandise rejected by the buyer due to reasons other than misrepresentation by All Things Estate Auctions. All sales are final. No lots are sold on approval. Placing a bid is a legally binding obligation. There are no returns or exchanges. By signing up to bid and by bidding, bidder agrees not to violate the payment provisions of these terms and conditions.
