German Model 35 helmet taken as souvenir and painted by US Army Sgt. Strong 333 FAGP (Field Artillery Group). This helmet is neatly painted with locations that the Sgt. served particularly the French regions ofNormandy, Brittany, St. Mere Eglise and others. The left side of the helmet is showing a German Luftwaffe Eagle and the right side shows the German national colors. The combination of the 2 insignia indicatecaptured from member of Luftwaffe. The helmets front shows the red, white and blue colors of the allies. The helmet was manufactured by F.W. Quist and shows Q manufacture’s code and size is 66 cm. Anoriginal soldier’s name is inscribed in back Gerhardus. Est.: $750 -$1,500.
