German Model 1942 Stahlhelm with Single Heer Decal and Field Applied Wine

A further upgrade of the Model 1935. Stamped steel construction, with integrated vent holes, a silver and black Heer decal on the left side, a mixed-tone brown paint job, and a wire harness attached at three points to the brim. Likely a field-improvised measure, the heavy gauge wire, likely salvaged from a fence or other barricade, has pre-bent sections suitable for inserting local plants and grasses for improved camouflage. The interior of the helmet is marked in paint "Gren. Schlender", with a "58" stamp on the leather webbing.
