Fullstock German Martini Scheibenbuchsen Single Shot Rifle, marked ''DSK Blanke Quedlinburg'', NVSN, 8.15x46Rmm, 24'' tapered octagonal barrel with standard rifle sights, ports for fine adjust tang target sights behind frame. Receiver is decorated with Germanic game scenes of both bull elk and red deer to either sidges, with acorn and oakleaf surrounds. Decorated port to lower portion of stock for four additional cartridges, double set triggers, with full-length European walnut stock with dark horn forend tip. Interesting escutcheon to bottom of forend with skull and crossbones and ''RW'' monogram. Condition is about very good. Case colored frame has toned a silvery gray, but engraving has lost little of its detail. Short blue barrel has toned somewhat, but still retains approx. 85%+ of its original color. Stock with moderate general overall impressions and some flattening to checks. Action needs final adjustment or minor repair, bore is about fine. Mfg'd just prior to WWI. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
