German Luger semi-auto pistol by Erfurt dated 1933, 9mm cal., 4” barrel, military blue finish, checkered wood grips, #155 in overall very good condition showing matching visible numbers including aluminum base magazine, very good +bore, crisp action, considerable muted black finish to metal surfaces with partial straw finish still visible on most small parts; good markings and good to very good grips; “KI.” over 1933 on top of frame with copy of notes from consignorpurporting this gun to be a rare Mauser rework (Kadetten Institut (Institue of Cadets)); Early Officer training school for S.A. and S.S. troops with 1933 only known date (re-numbering reportedly done by Mauser), again per consignor who stateson notes with lot “KI. 1933 is also mentioned in gun “Blue Book” as a Kozentration (Concentration Camp gun) produced for guards working Germany’s first concentration camps-most issued to Dachua guards, again only 200-300 known to have beenproduced. While the Blue Book info may be in dispute, this gun is rare; from WW 2 Vet family”.
