German Jaeger Muzzleloading .574 bore shotgun. 31 1/2" barrel length, converted percussion. Believed to be an original German Jaeger, having a nicely carved straight grip checkered walnut stock, with cheek rest being carved at transition toward butt. Stock showing major damage, having losses and cracks, missing grip cap, front ramrod pipe & ramrod, brass retainer plate missing a screw. Brass butt plate and trigger guard both showing light wear. Lock lightly pitted and appears fast. Trigger guard has hole in front for sling attachment with forwarding mounted swivel. Brass fixed front sight.  - 9976-032418-PB-00943
