German Imperial officer’s artillery sword with fancy nickel plated and etched blade showing unit markings and retaining original scabbard. The blade shows marking “Feld= Art.=Regt. V. Scharnhorst (1. Hannou.) N 10”. The reverse showsbattle honors for the Peninsula, Waterloo and Gohrde. The cross guard shows a stamping 10 artillery and number 8. The blade shows most of its original nickel with a nice patina and no polishing. The scabbard shows a dull originalunpolished nickel with some scattered erosion and pitting. The grip has lost its wire wrap and small losses of leather. Est.: $300-$600
