German G-43 sniper rifle, 8mm caliber, AC (Walther) coded, serial #2432. Scope shows GWZF4 marking with dow in triangle – serial #32355. Mount shows waffen proofs. The magazine shows electric pencil #2432, whichis period, and magazine is AYE marked with waffen proofs also. The blue is a matching color. The stock shows two sets of waffen proofs on left side behind sling port, #2482 stamped in the belly of the stock with asmall “B”, and all other matching visible serial numbers. The scope shows blued spring steel and screw-type mounts. The optics are clear. The condition is very good plus overall. There is some erosion and pittingaround the eye-piece and front piece of scope. The action is good, bore is very good plus. The original to the period leather sling is included. Includes cleaning rod. The Walther made G-43’s are of higher qualitywith more blued steel parts and this is a far above-average example, at least very good plus.
