German Drilling on under lever type action, barrel marked Fith. Wiener, Hamburg. The gun is 16 gauge over approximately 11 mm and is black powder German proofed but not marked as to the length of the cartridge case. Thebarrel’s measures 27 3/8” and the right shotgun barrel is choked cylinder and left choked modified. The barrels are also marked Krupp steel at breech and the action automatically cocks 3 exposed bar hammerswhen barrels are tipped and these act as cocking indicators. The set trigger works and rear sight flips up when rifled barrel activated. The frame is nicely scroll and game scene engraved with stag and doe onleft, trophy stag on right and Langerhan or game bird on top. The stock measures 13 ¼” to the end of the wood and 14 ¼” to the end of a added recoil pad of American mfg. There is light gold inlaid bands at the breech. TheBores are good and look like they would clean to near excellent.The barrel’s show 50% to 70% toning blue with some light rust and erosion.
