German-American Newspapers From WWI and WWII
German-American Newspapers From WWI and WWII. This lot consists of a 1915 copy of The Fatherland, a weekly publication published in New York in English and aimed at Americans of German heritage. In 1915 America had yet to commit to the war raging in Europe. This publication gave a uniquely pro-German spin to the events in Europe. Moving up a war, the second item is a April, 1940 copy of Deutsch-Amerikanische Bürger-Zeitung. This publication was published in German and proclaims itself the "Official Organ of the German-American Citizens' League of Illinois". Both periodicals are toned with age and slightly brittle but would rate a very good condition.

Shipping: Flat Material, Large (view shipping information)
