Through my affirmative action I was privileged to help make possible this very appropriate memorial to our great friend and colleague. He worked diligently to make this hospital a reality, and through your action you have recognized his efforts on behalf of his fellow men. I am pleased to send you a ceremonial pen as a memento of the legislative success of you and your colleagues.” Accompanied by the ceremonial pen. The navy blue barrel pen is imprinted in silver with the words “The White House” and signature “Gerald R. Ford.” The silver cover is engraved “Parker” and “Made in U.S.A.” and comes in its original box. In fine condition.
