Gerald Ford typed letter signed as Vice-President dated 29 January 1974. Signed ''Jerry Ford,'' the Vice President writes to a man in Grand Rapids who helped plan Gerald and Betty Ford's homecoming. In part, ''…Words are rather inadequate to express the great feeling of appreciation…'' Letters written by Ford as Vice-President are relatively scarce as he only held the office for eight months, from December 1973 to August 1974. Measures 7'' x 9'' on Vice-Presidential letterhead. In fine condition.
