Soviet general (1896–1974) who led the defeat of the Germans at Stalingrad and the entry into Berlin during World War II. DS, in Russian, one page both sides, 8 x 12, 1947. Attestation of the Vice-Commander of the 35th Elite (Guards) Mechanical Division, Colonel Andrey Grygoryevich Lubenchenko. Signed at the conclusion in blue ink by Zhukov as Commander of the Odessa Military District. In very good condition, with uniform moderate toning, marginal binding holes to one edge, a few small edge tears, and expected stamps and notations.
