Soviet politician, Communist Party leader and close collaborator of Stalin (1902–1988). After Stalin's death, he became Premier of the Soviet Union (1953–1955) and was in 1953 briefly considered the most powerful Soviet politician before being overshadowed by Nikita Khrushchev. Vintage ink signature in Russian, dated March 30, 1956 on an off-white 4 x 5.5 slip, with a clipped photo of Malenkov affixed above signature. In fine condition.
