This year's Canadian Home Builder's Association's (CHBA) silent auction is
an exciting one. A television set, deluxe fireplace, advertising opportunities, home fixtures and designer decorative pieces are just some of
the great items that can be yours.

For the second year in a row, the silent auction is on-line to allow CHBA
members and the public who are not attending the Georgie Awards still
participate in the auction. Bidding begins January 14th and will come
to an exciting close on the evening of January 31st as part of festivities at the Georgie Awards Gala.

Be part of the fun by placing a bid. All the contributions raised from the

Following auction close on the internet, all high bids will be submitted to the Silent Auction floor. Floor bidders will have a chance to place final bids against the internet bids, so please bid the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item(s) to ensure the best chance of winning the item(s).

<strong><u>Steps To Placing A Bid</u></strong>

2) Once you have completed registration, your password and confirmation code will be automatically emailed to you.

You will then be prompted to enter this information again along with your confirmation code to activate your account.

5) Browse to page of the item you are interested in and enter your Maximum Bid*.

6) For security reasons, you must enter your username and password along with your maximum bid.

7) You will be asked to confirm your bid, and once you have done so your bid will be automatically received.

8) If you are currently the highest bidder, your username will be displayed alongside the 'High Bid'.

<strong><u>After The Auction</u></strong>

All winning bids are unofficial until verified. Winning bidders will be notified within 24-48 hours of auction end.

Removal is the responsibility of the buyer. Successful winners attending the event must pay for and remove their items the same day. Successful Internet winners can pay for and pickup their items from Able Auctions, 1963 Lougheed Hwy, Coquitlam starting February 3rd, 2004.
