Desirable $30 Georgia Continental note, no. 5178, May 4, 1778, signed by Thomas Netherclift, William Few (signer of the US Constitution), William O'Bryen (state treasurer in 1778 and delegate to Continental Congress in 1779), Nehemiah Wade, and Richard Wylly. This sought-after 'pig' note features a small vignette of a wild boar in the lower right. These notes, printed by W. Lancaster of Savannah, were to be paid from proceeds acquired out of the seizure of Tory estates. In very good condition, with scattered creasing and a repaired tear to the bottom edge.
