Souvenir typescript, one page, 8.5 x 11, from ‘Talatala,’ beginning “At the time he hadn’t noticed her husband, who was probably down in the purser’s ofice, settling up for the voyage. The young woman, however, was very much in evidence, one kept running into her on the deck and in the corridor, in saloons and smoking rooms, showing her parents the ship.” Signed at the conclusion by Simenon and dated 1986. In fine condition. Accompanied by a 1957 TLS from his wife, which accompanied another autograph. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
