<B>George Washington Wax Panel Signed "G. Rouse",</B></I> 8" x 10" sight size in 10.75" x 12.5" shadow frame. A magnificent and completely realistic lifetime profile portrait of Washington facing left in uniform. "Gen George Washington 1796" is inscribed below the bust. This elegant English product simulates fine polished marble. Two cracks in the frame's glass, else excellent condition. Three-dimensional Washington items which can definitely be dated to his presidency are quite rare. This high-relief portrait almost qualifies as a sculpture and has superb display presence.
