<B> George Washington Carver Autograph Letter Signed </B></I> <I> "G.W. Carver" </B></I> Two pages, 8.5" x 11", Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute Stationery, Tuskegee Institute, Alabama, August 15th, 1934. George Washington Carver is the African American scientist who, among many other things, researched and discovered many Industrial uses for the peanut. This letter was written to a young man named B. Robertson, and it reads in part, <I> "I am glad you like your new job and that it takes you out where you can commune with nature, the very thing in which you are interested and with which your soul is filled." </B></I> <BR> The letter is in very fine condition and comes complete with its original envelope; usual folds are present; writing has slightly faded; signature is still dark and legible.
