George Washington: Two Different Early Federalist Party Ribbons. Among the earliest of political badges, these were worn by Federalist partisans during the 1808-1812 era. Usually these are made of silk, but the present pair are on a fairly stiff grade of paper. One is excellent but for some tiny holes near the top, and the other is very good, with some minor soiling at top and bottom. Both have a very nice appearance for display. Larger measures 1.875" x 8", and the smaller measures 1.75" x 7.5".

Shipping: Small Flat (view shipping information)
