<B>George W. Bush: Impressive Presidential Seal Blue Dog Print Signed by the Artist, George Rodrigue</B></I>. The art measures 20” x 20” inside the mat, and is framed to an overall size of 27” x 27”. The artist has signed simply “<I>Rodrigue</B></I>” at the bottom left of the print in gold marker. The colorful display piece depicts Rodrigue’s world-famous Blue Dog in cowboy hat, USA bandanna, and cowboy boots. The dog stares out at the viewer with his characteristic yellow eyes, and sits inside the presidential seal, which reads around its edges, “GEORGE W. BUSH 43rd PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.” This particular piece of art was commissioned by the Bush campaign after his election to the White House in 2000. Rodrigue’s experience with the Bush family extends to 1988, when he was commissioned to paint a portrait of Vice President George H. W. Bush and his grandchildren, a painting that still hangs in the former president’s private office. The print is in pristine condition, and just howling to be included on the wall of a George W.
