Offered here is not only one of the earliest appearances of "The Big Red Cheese," but one of the earliest works by superstar artist George (<B>Iron Man</B></I>) Tuska. Identified on the boards as both "Marvel One Shot #3" and "Captain Marvel #3", the publishers obviously considered <B>Special Edition Comics</B></I> #1 as the first issue of this series. In excellent condition, these pages measure approximately 15" x 20" overall, and represent an important historical find in the area of Golden Age art. George Tuska has signed the lot in the upper right corner of the first page. <B>Estimate: $10,000-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
