Actor (1914–1959) best remembered for his role as Superman on the popular 1950s television series. He was fatally shot under mysterious circumstances at the age of 45; whether his death was a suicide or a homicide remains one of the great unsolved mysteries of Hollywood lore. His death is the subject of the 2006 film Hollywoodland. Vintage ink signature, “George Reeves,” on an off-white 5 x 3.5 album page. In fine condition.
