The sweeping 12-issue series included just about every hero and villain ever published by DC, saw trillions of lives snuffed out, and even dared to picture the deaths of two of DC's most beloved characters. This was the first series splash, and the first appearance of Harbinger. Artist George Perez proved to be an inspired choice for the series. He reveled in drawing intricate scenes filled with dozens of characters. This page from the first issue measures 16" x 22.5" with a 15" x 21" image area. The art is clean with very little aging and some slight staining around the crop marks. <B>Estimate: $1,000-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
