In full: “I seek to know and speak the truth—George McGovern, Aug. 30, 1971”; and a souvenir 1972 election night telegram, in which McGovern concedes the presidential election to Richard Nixon, signed in black felt tip by McGovern in 1975. In fine condition, with a mild shade of uniform toning to quote, as well as a couple of trivial brushes. RRAuction COA.
