TLS, one page, 8 x 10, A.I.R. Record Productions letterhead, August 7, 1968. Letter to Marty Horstman. In part: “I have now had an opportunity of hearing your disc of Griff Blazey. I think he has a very pleasant voice and I would like to hear him in the Studio. The only problem is that at the moment I am working on a new Beatles’ L.P. and this gives me no time for other work.” In very good condition, with moderate overall creases, a tear to the right margin, and several sets of staple holes throughout. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. It was during this period that Martin and the Beatles were working on the White Album, which was released three months later on November 22, 1968.
