<td width="100%">
We offer a wonderful example of early English silver by Peaston. This is a sugar castor.The top is also marked appropriately. Large and attractive and fuly in the style of the mid 18th century.

The date letter is obscured on the base as we believe that at some time there must have been a repair to the base-though only on careful examination is this visible by holding the castor upside down and looking into the interior of the base-although all the other marks are quite visible when doing this. To the exterior there is no appearance of any problems whatsoever.
