Nineteenth-century American artist who attained international renown for his portraits. ALS in French, signed “Geo. P. Healy,” one page, 4 x 5, personal letterhead, July 29, 1872. Letter to his colleague Aime Eugenie Delville-Cordier to announce to her that he will bring the General Troy to her atelier in the hope that this visit could bring good results from this collector. In fine condition, with some stray ink flecks not detracting from crispness and legibility. RRAuction COA.
