Original album booklet included with The Concert for Bangladesh triple-album vinyl box-set, 10.75 x 11.5, sixty-three pages, signed inside in black ballpoint by George Harrison, Ravi Shankar, Alla Rakha, and Billy Preston, who adds “Yours musically.” In very good to fine condition, with scattered creasing and foxing. Box-set not included. Accompanied by a copy of a provenance letter from the original recipient, in part (spelling and grammar retained): “It was during mid 1970s when I lived in LA, some friends of mine were managing a motel in Hollywood. They had called up and said that the group that played with Ravi Shankar we’re staying at the motel. And they said that they were invited to go to the recording studio to meet George Harrison. They asked me and my wife would like to join them and go to the recording studio…We arrive at the hotel and we met Ravi Shankar’s group in the lobby. Very extremely nice people and my friends said that something came up and they were not going to be able to go to the recording studio, this broke my heart and I had brought along a booklet for the concert for Bangladesh to get it signed. I asked the group if they would not mind taking my booklet into the recording studio to get it signed by George Harrison, and they said they wouldn’t mind at all. About a couple of weeks later my friends came by that ran the hotel. And handed me my booklet back, I look through it and I noticed that was autograph[ed].”
