Vintage original semi-glossy 6 x 9 silver gelatin photo of George Harrison by Robert Freeman, which shows Harrison strumming his Rickenbacker guitar in bed at New York’s Plaza Hotel in New York in February 1964. Reverse of the photo bears a Freeman stamp and Hatton and St. Cross Features Ltd. copyright stamps. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. Shortly after the Beatles arrived in New York for their first US performance on the Ed Sullivan Show, Harrison fell ill and was instructed to rest in the group’s hotel room while the other members rehearsed for the show and did various promotional photo shoots around the city.
