Actor who worked primarily in the silent era, but whose final role was as a wounded soldier in Gone With the Wind (1896–1940). Scarce vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 publicity portrait of Hackathorne, signed in fountain pen, “Very sincerely, George Hackathorne.” In very good condition, with scattered creases to borders (heaviest to lower left corner), rippling and a few chips to edges, and silvering to dark areas of the image.
