George H W Bush’s Desk Used as U.S. Congressman
George H. W. Bush’s Desk Owned and Used by Him as a Congressman from Texas, 1967-1971. Measures 72” wide x 30” tall x 37.5” deep. The section where the chair fits measures 30.5” wide. The desk is made of maple veneer, and includes one wide, shallow central drawer with two handles, and four drawers on each side. All handles brass. Above the top drawer on each side is a flat pullout platform for additional workspace. This unique historical desk was used by future President George H. W. Bush in Washington, D. C. when he served in the United States House of Representatives from 1967 to 1971. The well-used desk shows scattered rubbing, mild scratches, and wear throughout, which only adds character to a unique item that must have seen its fair share of modern political and Congressional history. From the personal collection of Sharon Bush and accompanied by a signed Letter of Authenticity from her.

Shipping: Requires 3rd Party Shipping (view shipping information)
