Wet plate, albumen 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite photo. Half-view pose in uniform with rank of major general. Backmark: E. & H.T. Anthony, New York. In fine condition, with a light diagonal surface smear, and light, spotted silvering to some of the darker areas of the image.
