<B>George Evans - Shock SuspenStories #8, page 7 Original Art (EC, 1953). </B></I> George Evans' illustrations had a convincing, "everyday life" quality that was perfect for EC's shockers. These yelp-yarns often progressed slowly from a quiet normalcy to their blood-curdling "twist endings." In this final page from "Sleep No More," Evans' low-keyed approach to portraying an insane killer makes the ending even more disturbing. This page has an image area of 13" x 18".
