<B>Declaration Signer George Clymer Autograph Letter Signed and Autograph Document Signed.</B></I> George Clymer was a signer of the Declaration of Independence representing Pennsylvania; he was also the first president of the Philadelphia Bank and the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. The first document featured in this lot is an ALS signed, "<I>G.C.</B></I>" One page, 8" x 10", np, August 29. The content of the letter is routine, stating Clymer's need for another copy of a note sent to him. <BR><BR>The second item is an autograph document signed, "<I>G.C.</B></I>" One page, 7.75" x 9.75", np, November 11. The document is written out for a Mr. Samuel Meredith, and lists various renewals on his account. <BR><BR>The documents are both in very good condition; both have circular tears from the breaking of the wax seal; edges are worn and torn slightly; usual folds are present.
