American actor George Clooney (1961- ) became famous playing Dr. Doug Ross on the long-running popular medical drama E.R. between 1994 and 1999. Since then he has become one of Hollywood's biggest stars.
George Clooney has won two Golden Globe awards for his performances in Syriana and O Brother, Where Art Thou. He won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Syriana in 2005.
