<B>George Clinton Autograph Letter Signed</B></I> "<I>Geo. Clinton</B></I>". One page with integral address leaf showing it to be forwarded by General Schuyler, 8.25" x 13.5", Pokespsie sic , September 25, 1780, to Philip Van Rensselaer of Albany regarding a business deal. George Clinton was the longtime governor of New York and our nation's fourth vice president. Van Rensselaer was a merchant and importer in Albany and, at the time of this letter, was acting as storekeeper for General Schuyler's ordnance and military supplies.
