<B>George C. Marshall Envelope Signed</B></I> “<I>G C Marshall</B></I>”. 6.5” x 3.75”, postmarked Washington, D. C., November 17, 1953. George C. Marshall (1880-1959) was a distinguished military leader and originator of the “Marshall Plan”, a plan for rebuilding war ravaged Europe after WWII. Marshall has signed the envelope vertically along the left edge of the envelope. With the envelope are two newspaper clippings with accounts of his death.
