Typed transcript of the 11th chapter of General George Kenney’s 1951 book The MacArthur I Know, entitled "Korea," 10 pages, 8.5 x 11, no date, signed at the conclusion in black ballpoint, "George C. Kenney, Gen. USAF retired." The transcript reads, in part: "How far the Russians can deplete their stocks of tanks, artillery, airplanes, and other war materiel, without weakening their potential elsewhere, is hard to tell, but it may well be that Douglas MacArthur’s generalship in Korea has already acted to postpone a Communist move in Europe until the rearmament of the Atlantic Pact Nations has been accomplished to a degree that gives far more assurance of halting Russian aggression. It may be that future historians will record that Europe and civilization were saved by MacArthur’s fight in Korea." In fine condition.
